Job summary

The International School @ ParkCity, Kuala Lumpur is seeking staff to support teaching and learning across Primary, Secondary and Early Years. The role focuses on assisting teachers, supporting diverse learners and helping create an engaging classroom environment.

Ideal candidates are adaptable, child-friendly and fluent in English, with a willingness to participate in safeguarding training and school activities. Malaysian citizenship is preferred.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates, Undergraduates, Diploma or Certificate in Education or equivalent.
• Good command of English.
• Experienced in dealing with children.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the educational and social development of all ISP students.
• Work with groups of students to assist the teacher planned lessons.
• Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.
• Work with specialist teachers when required.
• Support students with emotional or behavioral problems and help develop their social skills.
• Actively support and adhere to the Child Protection Policy, including attending annual training.
• Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to develop their understanding, expectations for work and behavior.
• Contribute to classroom displays and help prepare lessons and resources.
• Support the class teacher with any reasonable request.
• Prepare and present displays of students' work.
• Organize equipment and prepare materials for lessons.
• Support class teachers in photocopying and other tasks.
• Undertake playground duties as required.
• Contribute to supervision duties and after school activities.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible to Head of Department (Secondary or Primary / Early Years)

Responsible for Supporting the Teaching and Learning

These guidelines are written in support of the role and include, yet are not limited to, the following key tasks and accountabilities.

Applicants for the position should:

Adaptable and resourceful to perform a wide variety of roles to support the Teachers.

Able to communicate effectively in English and maintain a flexible working relationship with the teacher.

Possess sound knowledge of the School's vision and mission statement.

REQUIREMENTS:

Fresh graduates, Undergraduates, Diploma or Certificate in Education or equivalent.

Good command of English.

Experienced in dealing with children.

Patient, pleasant, polite and responsible.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accompany students around the school to specialist lessons as required.
