Job Overview
We seek a versatile Teaching Assistant to support classroom instruction, student development, and school operations. The role reports to the Head of Department (Secondary) or Year Leader (Primary).
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering planned lessons and support group learning activities.
- Provide targeted individual support inside and outside the classroom, enabling all students to participate fully.
- Support students with emotional, behavioral, and social development needs.
- Prepare and present displays of students’ work and organize learning materials.
- Assist with photocopying, photocopying, and classroom tasks as requested.
- Undertake playground duties, supervision duties, and after‑school activities.
- Model excellent conduct, support students in following school rules, and attend team meetings.
- Actively support and adhere to the Child Protection Policy, including attending annual training.
Requirements
- Fresh graduate, undergraduate diploma, or certificate in Education or equivalent.
- Qualification in PGCE, TEFL, TESOL, or EAL is preferred.
- Good command of English and ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Experience working with children and a patient, pleasant, polite, and responsible demeanor.
- Applicants must be Malaysian citizens.
