Job Overview

We seek a versatile Teaching Assistant to support classroom instruction, student development, and school operations. The role reports to the Head of Department (Secondary) or Year Leader (Primary).

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering planned lessons and support group learning activities.
• Provide targeted individual support inside and outside the classroom, enabling all students to participate fully.
• Support students with emotional, behavioral, and social development needs.
• Prepare and present displays of students’ work and organize learning materials.
• Assist with photocopying, photocopying, and classroom tasks as requested.
• Undertake playground duties, supervision duties, and after‑school activities.
• Model excellent conduct, support students in following school rules, and attend team meetings.
• Actively support and adhere to the Child Protection Policy, including attending annual training.

Requirements

• Fresh graduate, undergraduate diploma, or certificate in Education or equivalent.
• Qualification in PGCE, TEFL, TESOL, or EAL is preferred.
• Good command of English and ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Experience working with children and a patient, pleasant, polite, and responsible demeanor.
• Applicants must be Malaysian citizens.
