Job summary

The Cigna Group Malaysia is hiring a Claims Processor to serve members, providers and payers with accurate benefit details and timely processing of claims. You will interpret medical policies, verify coverage and handle pre-approvals and reimbursements in line with SOPs.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will work in a fast-paced environment, maintain data accuracy, meet SLA targets, and collaborate with Finance, CSR and Network teams to resolve complex queries and ensure compliant, high-quality claims

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of experience performing a similar role; fresh graduates welcome.
• Claims processing or insurance experience preferred but not essential.
• Broad knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous.
• Excellent organization and strong administrative skills are essential.
• First-class written and verbal communication abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Processes claims from members and providers in a timely, accurate manner.
• Assists queries from providers and payers via phone or email.
• Maintains files for authorizations and other reports.
• Assesses eligibility and processes claims per policy terms.
• Keeps up with changes in system parameters or processes and meets SLAs.
