Job summary

VED Engineers Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer with a degree in civil engineering and BEM registration.

Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is a plus. At least 4 years in an engineering consultancy with infrastructure or structural project experience. Proficiency in Etabs, SAFE, SAP2000, Prota, Midas, StaadPro; Infravera, MES, TerraAlpha, TerraWater, Civil 3D preferred.

Qualifications

Must possess an Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in Civil Engineering and be registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
Language proficiency: Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
Minimum 4 years of experience as a Civil & Structural Engineer in an engineering consultancy firm; infrastructure or structural projects.
Proficiency in Etabs, SAFE, SAP2000, Prota, Midas, StaadPro; Infravera, MES, TerraAlpha, TerraWater, Civil 3D are preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform civil and structural engineering designs, including design reports and drawings.
Prepare and submit designs for approval by technical authorities.
Conduct site supervision, coordination, and inspections to ensure design compliance.
Attend client-consultant meetings, site meetings, and coordination meetings.
Work with clients, architects, planners, M&E consultants, and other stakeholders.
Provide technical and cost-effective engineering solutions for design and construction challenges.
