Job summary
A leading construction company in Sarawak is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate and supervise project activities. You will manage project quality and liaise with stakeholders to ensure compliance with specifications. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate, supervise and execute project activities, submission, inspection, and control of the quality and installation works of site.
- Liaise with multiple project stakeholders such as designer, owner and end-user to ensure all works are done as per tender specification and requirements.
- Provide timely and consistent project updates to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments and progress.
- Submission and liaison with local authority for projects involved.
- Manage and monitor contractor works and site progress.
- Assist section head/senior engineers to plan ahead to avoid unnecessary delay.
- Other tasks required from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil) or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in project engineering, project management or a related role. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering engineering projects.
- Holder of valid driving license & able to relocate/travel within Sarawak.
- Motivated individual and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Good inter-personal and communication skills in oral and written.
- Able to perform site inspections and assessments, which may include physical activities such as climbing ladders and working in various environmental conditions.
