Job description

Assist the project team in planning, monitoring, and executing road construction works. This PROTÉGÉ placement aims to provide hands‑on experience and develop technical and professional competencies in civil engineering specific to infrastructure and road projects.

Key Responsibilities

Support the execution of roadworks, including earthworks, drainage, pavement, and related structures.

Assist in preparing site reports, work progress updates, and documentation.

Monitor subcontractor activities and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.

Coordinate material deliveries, inspections, and testing with consultants or authorities.

Attend site meetings and technical briefings.

Participate in quality control and safety enforcement on‑site.

Ensure adherence to project timelines, budget, and specifications.

Assist in setting out, surveying, and measurement of work done on site.

Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers for effective project delivery.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
