Responsibilities
  • Manage building maintenance, administration and operations functions of a state‑of‑the‑art laboratory facility.
  • Monitor and facilitate the Centre’s compliance with building codes, Health, Safety, Environment and Security policies and standards.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of renovations and repairs.
  • Manage contractors, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget and up to facility standards.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans, evacuation routes, and preparedness activities.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for maintenance, operations, and infrastructure projects.
Qualifications & Work Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field and registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
  • At least 7 years of experience in building and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Professional registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) or Project Management Professional (PMP), is an added advantage.
  • Professional certification in Health, Safety, Environment, and/or Security is preferred.
