Responsibilities

• Check daily attendance of workers.
• Attend site meetings with agents & subcontractors.

Job description

We’re a well-established construction company. We need a candidate to assist the Project Team with an ongoing high-rise project at Georgetown, Pulau Pinang. Fresh Graduates with no experience are welcomed to apply.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of the leadership, both on-site and back in offices.
• Monitor and supervise roll-on-site works and any other construction-related activities.
• Coordinate sub-contractors and resources, including workers and machinery on site.
• Ensure delivered construction materials are of specified requirements.
• Prepare daily site reports, take site progress pictures, check and take site measurements.
• Minimise material and manpower wastage.
• Handle labour and supplier disputes.
• Follow and complete activities and duties directed by the Project Manager.
• Check daily attendance of workers for late arrival, absence, false claim, etc.
• Attend site meetings with site agent & sub-contractors.

Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge and capability to solve technical and site issues, can read drawings, CAD etc.
• Degree in Civil engineering / M&E engineering / other relevant field of study.
• Strong communication skills in Bahasa, English and Mandarin.
• Must be willing to work in Georgetown, Pulau Pinang. Hostel provided.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin will be considered as advantage.
