Job summary

Ideal candidates have a degree or diploma in engineering/drafting, 2–3 years Civil drafting experience, and strong attention to detail with effective communication for cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Engineering, Drafting, Civil or a related field.
• 2–3 years hands-on experience as a Drafter, preferably in Civil.
• Proficient in CAD software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of engineering principles, materials and construction methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality drawings.
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering designs, drawings and specifications to produce accurate and detailed technical drawings and documentation.
• Utilise CAD software to create 2D and 3D models, diagrams and schematics.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and provide technical support.
• Ensure all drawings and documentation adhere to industry standards, regulations and best practices.
• Assist in the preparation of project reports, proposals and presentations.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of drafting procedures.
