Civil and Structural Engineer / Drafter

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES (CIVIL & STRUCTURAL ENGINEER)

• Design and prepare civil and structure drawings
• Develop designs for earthwork, road and drainage as well as water reticulation (Civil infrastructure)
• Develop and design spreadsheets as well as using computer software packages
• Prepare technical report
• Attend consultant meeting, site meeting, and site inspection
• Liaise with external parties such as clients and relevant authorities as required

REQUIREMENTS (CIVIL & STRUCTURAL ENGINEER)

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil or Structural)
• 1-2 Years working experience in civil/structural design
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Able to write and speak multiple languages (eg: Bahasa Melayu, English, Mandarin) is added advantage
• Good interpersonal skill
• Able to plan, organise, manage multiple activities
• Able to perform under pressure
• Willing to travel outstation for meetings
• Attendance/Punctuality - Consistently at work and on time; Arrives at meetings and appointments on time
• Detail-oriented, responsible, independent, fast learner, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

RESPONSIBILITIES (DRAFTER)

• Coordinate the drafting works & liaison with engineers

REQUIREMENTS (DRAFTER)

• Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 1 to 2 years working experience
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Experience in Civil & Structural drafting
• Knowledge in AutoCAD & other relevant application is essential
• Enthusiastic, independent, and resilient
• Work independently with a good working attitude
