Job summary

The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) seeks the Head of Network Security Research Department to lead innovative security initiatives, research threats, and foster collaborations with academia and agencies in order to enhance the security, resiliency, and reliability of critical network infrastructure and services.

Candidate should have a degree in CS/IT, 10+ years in software development with security expertise, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of software development experience with security focus.
• Relevant professional certifications in network, information or cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of security solutions for network infrastructure and services.
• Plan and manage development of security tools and AI systems; benchmark emerging security technologies.
• Drive process automation to enhance operations and service delivery within the division and with stakeholders.
• Identify emerging threats and risks; develop mitigation strategies, tools and systems.
