Job summary

Ryt Bank is seeking a Head of Cybersecurity in Kuala Lumpur to lead the bank's cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk management. You will own the framework, align with BNM requirements, and report to senior management and the Board Risk Committee.

The role requires 12+ years in technology with 5+ years in leadership, strong knowledge of ISO 27001/NIST/PCI-DSS, and excellent communication. You will build teams and drive a security-first culture across engineering and operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of technology experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in regulated financial institutions is strongly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of ISO27001, NIST, ITIL, PCI-DSS and related governance standards.
• Excellent oral and written communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern cybersecurity strategy, framework and controls for the bank.
• Oversee governance, risk management, and regulatory reporting to senior management and regulators.
• Lead vulnerability management, incident response, and security architecture reviews.
