Job summary

Environmental Science (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated Chemist to join our KL branch laboratories. The role involves performing laboratory analyses, operating ICP-OES, GC, and UV-Vis instruments, and maintaining accurate data records.

The successful candidate will support QC/QA activities, assist in troubleshooting, and participate in equipment calibration and maintenance. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, with opportunities for performance bonuses and annual salary reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
Registered IKM member will be an added advantage.
Experience operating analytical instruments such as ICP-OES, GC and UV-Vis will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Perform laboratory analysis and operate scientific equipment.
Record and maintain accurate test data and results.
Carry out quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) activities during routine laboratory operations.
Assist in troubleshooting technical and operational issues within the laboratory.
Support the implementation of corrective actions when required.
Perform maintenance and calibration of laboratory testing equipment.
