Job summary

Dexcom Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Laboratory Technician to execute preparation, testing, and analysis of chemical solutions to ensure quality and compliance with specifications. You will maintain and calibrate instruments (YSI, Viscometer, pH Meter, weighting scale) and uphold safety protocols in line with OSHA regulations.

The role requires GDP familiarity, Good Documentation Practice, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; you will help plan resources, document manufacturing

Qualifications

• SPM qualification or previous lab experience preferred.
• Good Documentation Practice (GDP) familiarity.
• Well-organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to finish tasks within timelines.
• Familiar with standard lab practices, including handling hazardous chemicals.
• Able to interpret written, oral, diagram or schedule instructions.

Responsibilities

• Execute the preparation, testing, and analysis of chemical solutions to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments (e.g., YSI, Viscometer, pH Meter, weighing scale) to ensure accurate results.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous chemicals.
• Direct day-to-day oversight and planning of work for the operations.
• Assist supervisor/manager to plan and schedule resources and equipment.
• Assist supervisor/manager to conduct and document training.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of manufacturing documents.
• Ensure on-time equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Assist in the transition of new products into manufacturing.
• Monitor equipment performance and perform minor adjustments and repairs as trained.
