Job summary

A leading hospitality company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Entry Level Manager to assist in the efficient running of their Western Restaurant Kitchen. With responsibilities including supervision of the kitchen and ensuring high-quality products, the ideal candidate should possess culinary qualifications and relevant experience in a hotel or F&B setting. Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices is essential. This full-time role is available for Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents only.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years as Chef de Partie or 3 years as Demi Chef de Partie in hotels.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and health standards.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills.

Summary

You will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the Western Restaurant Kitchen in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest, and owner expectations. The Chef de Partie - Western Restaurant is responsible for supervising the assigned station of the Western restaurant kitchen, to prepare a consistent, high-quality product and ensure courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service that supports the outlet's operating concept and Hyatt International standards.

Qualifications
  • Due to work permit restrictions, this position is only open to Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia.
  • Ideally with an apprenticeship or professional diploma/degree in Culinary Education.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience as Chef de Partie or 3 years as Demi Chef de Partie in international hotels or F&B establishments are preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, and strong organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills are essential.
