Overview

As the Chef de Partie at APPETITE FUSION VENTURE, OUR BRAND MIOS & CO, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of a wide range of dishes in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment. This full-time role is based in Mios & Co, Shah Alam, Selangor and will see you playing a key part in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of line cooks to ensure the efficient and timely preparation of all menu items
  • Ensure that all dishes meet our high standards for quality, presentation and flavour
  • Assist in menu planning and item development to continuously improve our culinary offerings
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment in your assigned kitchen station
  • Train and develop junior members of the kitchen team to improve their skills and capabilities
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and other Chefs de Partie to implement new recipes and cooking techniques
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a reputable restaurant or hotel kitchen
  • Formal culinary training and qualifications, such as a diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts
  • Excellent knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods and presentation techniques
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills to develop and motivate a team of line cooks
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high food quality standards
  • Flexible and adaptable to accommodate changes in menu items and operational needs
