Job description

Chargeman / Senior Technician (Based in Kulim High Tech Park, Kedah)

Must be willing to work in Kulim High Tech Park, Kedah.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, repair, and operation of facility electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.
• Attend to equipment breakdowns related to facility electrical and mechanical installation.
• Assist in projects, commissioning and troubleshooting of facilities equipment and utilities hook‑up.
• Supervision of facility service providers to ensure the facility maintenance program is carried out accordingly.
• Operate high and low voltage switchgear for shutdown and normalizing activities whenever required.
• Plan and coordinate proper maintenance schedule on transformer, high & low voltage switchgear servicing and protection relay calibration to comply with IEE regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with TNB / NUR power for service / regulatory compliance and breakdown coordination.

Experience & Skills Needed

• Project & facility installation experience and electrical troubleshooting skill.
• Building Management System (BMS) knowledge and data interpretation skill is an added advantage.

Education Needed

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or related field.
• BO Electrical Chargeman Certification (11 kV or 33 kV) is an added advantage.

Technical Competency

• Technical proficiency, building system and regulatory compliance.
• Interpersonal competencies for effective communication, problem solving, analytical & troubleshooting skill.
