JOB SUMMARY

As Change Management Manager, you will lead the design and execution of change strategies for large-scale transformation projects. You’ll develop masterplans, mobilize change agents, manage communications, and ensure successful adoption and sustainability of change initiatives. The role also involves monitoring progress, managing risks, and providing leadership and advisory support to teams and stakeholders.

JOB SCOPE
Change Management Strategy
  • Design and develop high-level change management strategies aligned with organizational transformation goals.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and change impact assessments to inform strategic decisions.
  • Advise senior leadership on change readiness, strategic risks, and alignment with business objectives.
Change Management Masterplan
  • Translate change strategies into actionable masterplans for specific projects and programs.
  • Define detailed timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocations for change initiatives.
  • Develop and execute key plans, including Sponsors Plan, People Managers Plan, Communication Plans, Engagement Plans, Training Plans.
Manage Individual Change
  • Implement and support change initiatives for relevant stakeholders in accordance with established plans.
  • Effectively manage resistance to change by deploying targeted interventions.
  • Assess individual change outcomes in tandem with project maturity metrics.
Change Network Mobilization
  • Establish and manage change agent networks to support and reinforce change initiatives.
  • Empower change agents with tools, training, and communication to drive adoption and feedback.
  • Facilitate collaboration among change agents to address resistance and promote engagement.
Change Management Close-Out
  • Develop post-implementation support plans to ensure long-term adoption and benefits realization.
  • Monitor sustainability of change outcomes and provide ongoing advisory to business units.
  • Conduct follow-up assessments and refreshers to reinforce change behaviours.
Change Management Monitoring at Enterprise
  • Manage a portfolio of concurrent change initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment and resource optimization.
  • Prioritize change efforts based on organizational impact, readiness, and capacity.
  • Report portfolio performance via dashboard to senior leadership and recommend adaptation.
Stakeholder & Communication Management
  • Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships to secure support and buy-in, aligning initiatives with organizational policies.
  • Manage and execute communication plans using diverse channels such as newsletters, Yammer, roadshows, town halls, e-bulletins, online teasers, newsflashes, and educational videos.
  • Create impactful change narratives and materials to enhance engagement and understanding.
Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
  • Measure the effectiveness of change initiatives through KPIs, including adoption rates, resistance levels, and employee satisfaction.
  • Maintain and improve Change Management Playbooks, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational needs.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to sustain successful transformation outcomes.
Team Leadership & Advisory
  • Manage and upskill subordinate teams, ensuring high-quality delivery of change management functions.
  • Provide advisory services and training to internal stakeholders based on updated Playbooks and evolving organizational needs.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
  • Proficiency in methodologies and proven ability to lead impactful change and transformation.
  • Skilled storyteller, clear and persuasive verbal and written communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Technical skills in doing stakeholder analysis, readiness, and change performance indicators.
  • Deep understanding of human behavior in the workplace, including motivation, resistance, team dynamics, and cultural influences.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders, lead teams, and foster collaboration across departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Malaysian citizen.
  • Above 30 years old on the closing date of application.
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in Change Management, Business, Mass Communications, Organization Psychology, or equivalent qualification from accredited higher learning institutions.
  • Pass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent as recognized by the Government.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in change management, preferably in different sectors.
  • Certification such as Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) or PROSCI is highly desirable.
  • Candidate is required to present project portfolio related to change management that he or she has led as Change Manager.
