Job summary

Sumiso (Malaysia) is seeking a forklift operator to safely operate forklifts for loading, unloading and moving goods within the warehouse at Port Klang. You will ensure proper stacking, transport materials within production and warehouse areas, and maintain cleanliness of the equipment.

You must follow safety SOPs, report incidents, and coordinate with warehouse staff. Ideal candidates have punctuality, no criminal record, and a clean driving record; forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely for loading, unloading, moving, and stacking goods/materials.
• Transport materials and goods within the warehouse, production area, or designated work areas.
• Ensure goods are handled carefully to prevent damage during transportation.
• Conduct daily inspection of the forklift before use and report any defects or safety issues immediately.
• Maintain proper stacking and storage of goods according to company procedures.
• Assist with loading and unloading lorries/containers when required.
• Follow all company safety rules, SOPs, and forklift operating procedures.
• Ensure the forklift is kept clean and in good working condition.
• Record and report any damaged goods, accidents, or incidents to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with warehouse and operations staff to ensure smooth movement of materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
