CCH METAL SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWaM) to lead on-site waste compliance and reporting. The role covers waste identification, storage, DOE notifications via eSWIS, and preparation of regulatory reports, audits, and inspections.

The successful candidate will have CePSWaM, strong knowledge of Malaysian regulations, and proven ability to train staff and liaise with authorities and contractors.

Qualifications

• Possess CePSWaM certification recognized by the DOE, Malaysia.
• Knowledge of Malaysian environmental regulations and DOE compliance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience in scheduled waste management or wastewater treatment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage scheduled wastes generated on-site.
• Ensure proper waste storage, labeling, and good housekeeping.
• Monitor waste storage duration and quantities per DOE requirements.
• Maintain inventory records, consignment notes, and DOE notifications in the eSWIS system.
• Prepare environmental reports and support audits.
• Conduct routine inspections and performance evaluations of wastewater treatment facilities.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, consultants, contractors, and service providers on compliance matters.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance treatment efficiency.
• Conduct environmental awareness and training for employees.
