You will lead as well as support the development and implementation of strategies for performance management, leadership development, learning, reward and wellbeing, recruiting, onboarding reporting processes and other initiatives.

About the opportunity

As part of our Talent Attraction and Acquisition team, you will drive the recruitment growth for our Penang Office. Understanding our business issues are imperative. You will build strategic relationship with leaders and other teams across our complex business. Identifying and implementing recruitment solutions will extend your talents. A wide variety of new experiences in a dynamic environment will help you to move quickly along the career path you choose.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including candidate screening, interview scheduling, offer preparation, and onboarding coordination.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, trackers, and documentation to support HR operations.
  • Administer professional development matters, including exam coordination, claim processing, and sponsorship arrangements.
  • Support employee benefits administration, including leave management, medical claims, and staff enquiries.
  • Handle employee separation processes, including clearance documentation and final day arrangements.
  • Coordinate training logistics, travel arrangements, and related claims verification.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of HR documents and records in line with internal procedures.
  • Provide support for employee engagement initiatives, campus events, and ad-hoc HR/admin projects as required.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in HR generalist or similar role
  • Good understanding of recruitment processes, employee lifecycle, and HR operations.
  • Excellent communication skills and client focus. Ability to build good relationships, engage with business leader and work effectively with multiple stakeholders at all levels
  • Meticulous with high level of self-initiative
