PAUL Malaysia is seeking a proactive and results-driven Catering Sales Manager to grow our catering and corporate sales business. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and delivering customized catering solutions that reflect PAUL’s French culinary heritage and premium standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new catering opportunities with corporate clients, event organisers, embassies, and institutions.
- Actively prospect, pitch, and close catering sales to meet monthly and annual targets.
- Expand PAUL Malaysia’s presence in corporate catering, meetings, events, and private functions.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for catering clients from enquiry to post-event follow-up.
- Build long-term relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Handle client feedback professionally and coordinate resolutions where required.
Proposal & Quotation Management
- Prepare catering proposals, menus, and quotations in collaboration with Operations and Kitchen teams.
- Ensure pricing accuracy, margin control, and timely submission of proposals.
- Follow up on proposals to secure confirmations.
Event Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate closely with kitchen, logistics, and outlet teams to ensure smooth event execution.
- Conduct site visits and attend events when required to ensure service standards are met.
- Ensure all catering orders are delivered according to PAUL’s quality and brand standards.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain catering sales records, pipelines, and client databases.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review.
- Track trends, customer preferences, and market opportunities.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in catering sales, hospitality sales, or B2B sales (F&B preferred).
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; other languages are an advantage.
- Self‑motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Willing to travel for client meetings and events when required.
