Job summary

A leading aviation group in Sepang is looking for an individual to manage catering operations, including loading food carts and ensuring the safe transport of items to the aircraft. Candidates should have a good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, and be able to operate Hi-Lift catering trucks. This position involves following strict safety and hygiene protocols to ensure efficient service in the aviation industry.

Qualifications

• Must have a command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Attendance at regulatory and mandatory training is required.
• Ability to operate Hi-Lift catering truck.

Responsibilities

• Load items into designated storage locations on aircraft.
• Transport food items between MCAT and aircraft.
• Load and off-load food carts between MAGCS and catering vehicles.
• Ensure safety of Hi-lift equipment.
• Maintain hygiene and serviceability of specialized equipment.

Job description

Malaysia Aviation Group – Sepang, Selangor

Key Accountability

• All items loaded into a designated storage location in the aircraft as per cart, SU, blanket, pillow & loading manual.
• Operate Hi-Lift/Van to transport food items between MCAT and aircraft
• Load and off-load food carts between MAGCS OUTBOUND/OUTBOUND and catering vehicles.
• Load in-flight meals onto the aircraft in accordance with cabin loading plans
• Handover & acceptance of catering items by Cabin Crew
• Comply to the safety & security of Hi-lift equipment e.g., lashing, carts, SU
• Before opening a cabin door, the Hi-lift operator shall ensure that there is no cabin crew and/or Ground Engineer in the vicinity of the door.
• Before closing a door, the Hi-lift operator shall look out for any possible obstructions around the door area that may hinder the closure of the door or may cause damage to the door.
• Handover process & acceptance between MAS Awana & MAGCS
• All items to be uplifted per checklist – correct item & quantity
• Ensure all specialised equipment is in serviceable status to be deploy to operations
• Ensure all specialised equipment is well maintained for hygiene and maintenance
• Other duties as assigned by superior and management

Skill & Knowledge
