Responsibilities
1) Category Trading & Performance Management
  • Drive weekly and daily trading actions to deliver category targets across GMV/Revenue, margin, conversion, and sell-through.
  • Monitor performance and diagnose gaps using onsite and commercial data (e.g., top SKUs, traffic trends, price competitiveness, campaign results).
  • Produce regular performance updates and recommendations for the Category Manager/Head of Category.
2) Assortment & Range Execution
  • Support seasonal and monthly assortment planning: core vs trend, newness flow, and key price points.
  • Identify assortment gaps using customer insights, onsite search, and competitor checks.
For Retail Owned
  • Support buying inputs, replenishment tracking, and size curve optimisation.
For Marketplace
  • Support selection expansion via seller/brand activation and catalogue improvements.
3) Brand/Vendor/Seller Management
  • Manage a portfolio of brands/sellers and support negotiations on commercial terms and campaign participation.
  • Execute joint commercial plans: assortment growth, pricing alignment, and promotional participation.
  • Track partner performance and improve key drivers such as content quality, fulfilment SLAs, returns, and customer ratings.
4) Pricing, Promotions & Campaign Execution
  • Execute the Shoes promo calendar (mega days, pay days, seasonal events), ensuring:
    • Right hero SKUs and deal depth
    • Strong price competitiveness
    • Stock readiness and seller readiness
    • Support markdown recommendations and ensure adherence to pricing guidelines.
5) Stock & Availability
  • Manage stock health through replenishment follow-ups, ageing control, and markdown actions.
  • Partner with supply chain/ops to ensure strong in-stock position and smooth inbound flow.
6) Onsite Merchandising & Customer Experience
  • Ensure Shoes pages are trade ready: images, attributes, size/fit info, taxonomy, SEO basics, and correct categorisation.
  • Coordinate with onsite/content teams to improve discoverability (filters, navigation, landing pages) and reduce catalogue defects.
7) Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Marketing, Planning, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketplace Ops, Content, and Operations to deliver end-to-end execution.
Requirements
  • 3-6 years experience in category management, merchandising, buying, trading, or marketplace commercial roles (e-commerce/fashion preferred).
