Responsibilities
- Responsible for the category strategy to ensure maximum contribution to business objectives.
- Develop and define procurement strategies for the assigned categories.
- Conduct market analyses, identify market trends and price developments.
- Independently manage negotiations through to contract conclusion.
- Carry out tenders and award contracts in close coordination with relevant departments.
- Systematically research and identify innovations and sustainability aspects.
- Support supplier audits in cooperation with Quality Management.
- Strategically align, continuously optimize, and maintain the supplier portfolio.
- Conduct business reviews and initiate measures.
- Coordinate and manage annual supplier evaluation.
- Ensure and improve relevant qualitative procurement parameters.
- Advise departments on procurement-related issues and processes.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements.
Your Challenges

- Build, manage, and develop a high-performing supplier portfolio.
- Manage the tendering and award process.
- Standardize and update standard contracts.
- Responsible for the commercial terms of the assigned category.
Tasks
- Develop and define procurement strategies for the assigned categories.
- Conduct market analyses, identify market trends and price developments.
- Independently manage negotiations through to contract conclusion.
- Carry out tenders and award contracts in close coordination with the relevant department.
- Systematically research and identify innovations and sustainability aspects in the relevant category.
- Support supplier audits in close cooperation with Quality Management.
- Strategically align, continuously optimize, and maintain the supplier portfolio.
- Conduct business reviews, including initiating measures.
- Coordinate and manage the annual supplier evaluation in an interface function.
- Ensure and improve all relevant qualitative procurement parameters.
- Advise departments on all procurement-related issues and processes.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, acting as the interface between suppliers and Quality Management.
