Job summary

Eco-Shop Marketing Berhad (Retail) is seeking a retail counter assistant in Damai Utama, Puchong. You will assist customers at the counter, process cash and card payments, and help maintain stock accuracy and presentation.

This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and a proactive, customer-focused mindset. The position involves shift work, weekends, and public holidays, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School / SPm / Diploma or equivalent with basic math.
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Attention to detail for handling transactions and monitoring stock.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with purchases and addressing inquiries.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and balance the cash drawer.
• Accurately handle transactions, manage the cash register, and monitor stock effectively.
• Check counter equipment daily and report any issues for repair or replacement.
• Keep the counter clean, tidy, and hygienic to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
• Monitor and replenish counter stock, to avoid shortages.
