Job summary

Ria Money Transfer in Malaysia is seeking a Cashier in Retail Operations to handle transactions, verify customer details, and support daily operations in line with company procedures.

The role requires fresh graduates with SPM or higher, the ability to work weekends, basic computer skills (MS Word/Excel), and cash handling experience is highly preferred. You will be part of a team delivering friendly service and accurate records.

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends.
• Some computer knowledge with ability to use MS Word and Excel.
• Cash handling experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers face to face to receive and process all of Ria’s products such as money transfers, money orders, selling and buying foreign currency.
• Accurately verify or enter the customer’s information on our systems.
• Courteously assist customers with various inquiries such as questions about our services, service cancellations or other Ria locations.
• Recognize problems, issues or complaints during queries and propose solutions or elevate to the management team.
• Keep up to date with Ria’s products, services, and policies.
• Balance your cash register and prepare cash for bank deposit.
• Prepare your daily transactions record.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested by your colleagues and superiors.

About This Role

As a Cashier, in Retail Operations, your role will be providing frontline customer service by processing transactions, handling inquiries, ensuring accurate records, and supporting daily operations in compliance with company procedures.
