Responsibilities include collecting and logging the starting cash float, accepting payments by cash, card, QR, or e-wallet, and reconciling reports with supervisor approval for any discrepancies.

The role requires vigilance against suspicious bills and prompt escalation of potential fraud, with strict cutoffs and complete daily reconciliation.

• Collect, verify, and log the starting cash float in the POS.
• Announce totals clearly and accept payments via cash, card, QR, or e-wallet.
• Check suspicious bills, escalate potential fraud, and obtain supervisor approval for voids or corrections.
• Stop transactions at cutoff, print the report, reconcile cash against POS totals, and log the returned float.
