Uddo is a commercial design & build company specialising in retail, F&B, clinic and branded experience spaces.
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Carpenter who can handle both factory joinery fabrication and on-site installation.

This role is suitable for someone who understands cabinet making, woodworking, and commercial renovation requirements.

Responsibilities

Factory (Joinery Workshop):

• Fabricate cabinets, counters, fixtures and furniture according to drawings
• Operate basic woodworking machines (table saw, panel saw, edge bander, hand tools)
• Assemble RTA furniture systems, fittings, hardware and joinery components
• Work with CNC‑cut panels and 3D‑printed components prepared by the factory
• Ensure accuracy, clean finishing and measurement precision
• Handle materials: plywood, melamine boards, solid wood, laminates, hardware fittings

On‑Site (Installation Works):

• Install cabinets, counters, wall panels, feature walls and all wood‑related fittings
• Conduct site measurement and adjustments when needed
• Perform repair, touch‑up and rectification works
• Assist project team during site progress, renovation and handover
• Ensure neat workmanship and safe working practices
• Coordinate with project managers, designers and electricians on site

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years experience in carpentry, joinery or renovation
• Able to read and understand drawings (2D layout & basic shop drawings)
• Skilled in cutting, assembly, hardware installation and finishing
• Able to handle tools such as drills, saws, grinders, nail guns, etc.
• Familiar with melamine, plywood, laminates and common fittings
• Able to perform site work and adjust measurements on the spot
• Experience in commercial projects (F&B/retail/clinic) is a bonus

Soft Skills

• Responsible, punctual and takes pride in good workmanship
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit for site installation work
• Willing to travel to job sites when required
• Good attitude and willing to learn new systems (RTA, CNC workflow)
