Job summary

CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management Sdn Bhd is seeking a trainee to assist customers, manage product displays, and support store operations. Training provided.

You will help with stock control, promotions, pricing, and cashier duties while learning pharmacy retail standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn retail operations and customer service standards.
• Ability to handle cash and basic transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers, provide product information and help with selections.
• Ensure product visibility and apply FEFO/FIFO inventory practices.
• Receive goods, store deliveries and assist in stock control.
• Address customer inquiries and refer to the team when needed.
• Attach price tags, stay updated on promotions and create displays.
• Process cash and card payments and balance the register with receipts.

Duties/Responsibilities (Training Provided)

Customer Assistance: Attend to customers, providing product information, helping them find what they need, and offering advice on product selection.

Product Display: Ensure product visibility and proper display, implementing FEFO and FIFO practices for inventory management.

Inventory Management: Receive incoming goods, store deliveries appropriately, and assist in stock control and management.

Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and complaints, referring them to the appropriate pharmacy team member when necessary.

Promotions and Pricing: Attach price tags to products, stay updated on special promotions, and create appealing displays.

Payment Processing: Process cash and card payments accurately and balance the cash register with receipts.

The first CARiNG Outlet opened in Taman Muda, Cheras. At that time, the awareness of community pharmacy services was still low. The founders took these important steps to instill the value of pharmacists in the healthcare profession by:

Providing 12 hours a day, 7 days a week full time pharmacist service.

Providing easily accessible pharmacist counseling service, free blood pressure checks and other health checks at a minimum fee.

Designing the store with a modern, open concept to maximise interaction with customers and merchandise. With this successful concept, CARiNG Pharmacy is growing fast within the Peninsular Malaysia.
