Job summary

Putra Medical Centre Kedah is seeking a cardio-respiratory technologist to perform non-invasive testing and support cath lab procedures. You will assist during angiography, angioplasty, and pacemaker placements, while accurately documenting hemodynamic data.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Cardio-respiratory Technology with 2-3 years of related experience and a Post Basic cardiovascular nursing or thoracic science qualification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Cardio-respiratory Technology or equivalent.
• Post Basic qualification in Cardiovascular Nursing or Thoracic Science preferred.
• 2-3 years of relevant cath lab or cardiac experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct non-invasive tests: ECG, stress test, stress ECHO, echocardiogram, pulmonary function testing.
• Assist cardiac and nursing technicians during invasive catheterization lab operations (angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker placement).
• Record and document hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Maintain adherence to cardiopulmonary criteria set by regulatory bodies.

Diploma in Cardio-respiratory Technology or equivalent

2-3 years of relevant working experience in the cath lab or related cardiac experience.

Being able to perform an ECG, stress ECG and echocardiogram is an added advantage.

Preferable a Post Basic qualification in Cardiovascular Nursing or Thoracic Science as equivalent.

Responsibility

• To conduct all non-invasive tests such as ECG, stress test, stress ECHO, echocardiogram, pulmonary function testing, and others.
• To assist cardiac and nursing technicians during invasive catheterization laboratory operations such as angiography, angioplasty, and temporary or permanent pacemaker placement.
• During procedures, keep track of and document all hemodynamic data.
• Maintain adherence to cardiopulmonary criteria set by regulatory organizations.
