  • This position is for an Entry‑Level engineer to support the asset integrity of fixed equipment and piping across our business lines in Product Solutions or Upstream facilities globally.
  • As an integral part of our Equipment engineering team providing high quality technical insights and support to fixed equipment & piping for ExxonMobil’s manufacturing facilities globally.
  • This role uniquely combines materials and corrosion expertise, inspection experience, and static equipment knowledge to ensure the reliability and safety of our operations.
  • This calls for proactive thinking, idea generation, robust interpersonal skills, staying abreast of technological advancements, applying sound scientific principles, collaborating with global teams, occasional travel to engage with internal teams, and proficiency in intellectual property matters.
  • Position is based in Kuala Lumpur.
What you will do
  • You will have the opportunity to grow your technical skills while providing essential systems support to our manufacturing business sites.
  • Deploy and execute static expertise assessment for in‑service fixed equipment and piping.
  • Provide corrosion expertise in the development of fit‑for‑purpose equipment strategies and integrity operating windows involving higher complexity corrosion mechanisms.
  • Develop, and deploy integrity, static and corrosion management workflows to Product Solutions and Upstream businesses globally.
  • Develop and optimize inspection plans and recommendations using data analytics.
  • Deliver overall integrity effectiveness and management which includes criticality assessments, consequence/complexity rating of fixed equipment, setting optimum task intervals including local regulations/statutory requirements, timely review of inspection findings, and constant improvement of strategies.
  • Develop and leverage cutting‑edge tools and digital techniques to improve the delivery effectiveness in driving overall asset improvements.
  • Provide regional oversight and stewardship of integrity work product metrics for quality, effectiveness, and efficiency in achieving business unit/manufacturing site objectives.
About you

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor/ Master’s degree in Materials or Mechanical Engineering with an excellent academic track record.
  • Candidates with less than 3 years of relevant working experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to work in a multi‑cultural global setting coupled with strong written & verbal communication skills.
