To enhance our successful Technology (TDI) Team in AT&S Malaysia in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah, we are looking for a passionate CAM Engineer/ Senior Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Should have adequate knowledge of InCAM Pro software to generate proper tooling for production and using all the options in InCAM Pro software.
• Read customer data into CAM work station to identify customer design and features for future use.
• Check customer design to find out the design issues, which are not matched with specification and guidelines; clarify design issues for data preparation and highlight out-of-capability designs.
• Search for long-term improvement in CAM area of standard workflow, automation possibility, technology study and so on.
• Tooling preparation for production of daily business, maintain high efficiency and good quality.
• Preparation of trials and rework tools to support production for test and rework.
• Control error rate and drive improvement as a tooling preparation team to minimize design errors and their impact on the company and customers.
• Implement engineering change requests on tooling and follow changes to prepare tooling with backup for traceability.
• Maintain data backup systems to preserve customer data and keep all information easy for identification.
• Provide training to new colleagues and foster internal sharing; execute trainings on time and monitor progress.
• Follow SSS and design guidelines for daily job study and implement them in tooling preparation without violating customer requirements.
• Run optimization of CAM preparation to improve efficiency and accuracy in tooling design.
• As a team member of projects, follow project leader’s requirements to start tasks.
• Support production in cooperation with manufacturing and maintain close contact to understand needs and how to support.
• Perform other duties assigned by superiors and complete tasks on time with high reliability.
• Communicate daily business information and new technologies to superiors to keep key tasks updated.
• Prepare CAM Work Instructions to guide and train new CAM members.
• Conform to guidelines in procedures, new job instructions, quotations and other documentation to ensure product quality.
• Knowledge of FMEA within the department and ensuring implementation of related guidelines to ensure product quality.
• Update standard department documents (e.g., product-specific checklists) to ensure proper documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
• Minimum 5 years’ working experience in PECAM at PCB/ SMT/Integrated Circuit Substrate industry is preferable.
• Good knowledge in IT, especially CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing).
• Computer skills – MS Office Package (Word, Excel).
• Good leadership skills, team spirit, able to be part of a team and a team leader as well.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision, dedicated, results oriented, hardworking and able to work under pressure.
