Job summary

A leading aerospace manufacturer in Shah Alam, Malaysia, is looking for a Calibration Technician to ensure timely calibration and maintenance of equipment, generate reports, and support audits. Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of experience in quality calibration processes and good documentation skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. This challenging role offers exposure to continuous improvement activities within an innovative environment.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of working experience with calibration exposure in the Quality line.
  • Knowledge in performing calibration is preferred.
  • Ability to perform in-house calibration.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely collection, calibration, and distribution of equipment.
  • Generate calibration reports and manage calibration labels.
  • Involve in internal, customer, and certification body audits.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • To ensure all the equipment are timely collected, calibrated and distributed accordingly to relevant parties.
  • To carry out calibration activities according to procedure/instruction and specification by using appropriate master equipment.
  • To generate calibration reports appropriately and in a timely manner
  • To monitor, control and update the calibration label of all the equipment at the related location.
  • To maintain and update the GageTrak of IMTE/MME information.
  • To ensure all record retentions activities of calibration report / certificate are carried out efficiently and to be able to provide necessary records when needed including storage of documents.
  • To manage and create Purchase Requisition (PR) for purchase equipment and calibration activity.
  • To involve in internal, customer and certification body audits.
  • To report to Calibration Engineer or Head of Quality on all calibration’s related issue.
  • To ensure the cleanliness (free of oil, dust, chemicals, etc.) of the calibration room and working environment.
  • To actively involved in continuous improvement activities within the department and/or the company
Key Requirements
  • Good documentation skills with fair knowledge in Microsoft Office applications and PC literate
  • Capability performing in-house calibration.
  • Calibration process related trouble‑shooting skills
  • 1-3 years of working experience with calibration exposure in the Quality line.
  • Knowledge in performing calibration is preferred.
