Requirements & Qualifications

• College Degree holder;
• 3 years working experience in area of merchandising/purchasing/stock planning/logistics;
• Knowledge in ERP system is an advantage;
• Good command in English;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software;
• Responsible, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure, and follow superior’s instruction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
• Source and get quote from supplier(s) when price is not available or not updated then upload vendor’s quote in shared drive.
• Analyze and execute purchasing via email or vendor portal according to customer service’s purchase requisition or forecast/replenishment planning requirement.
• Feedback to Sales Engineer or Sales Manager for any unrealistic forecast from customer or Sales Engineer.
• Ensure the optimum inventory level to sustain the continuous supply to customer(s) according to their latest business demand without overcapitalizing on material or goods in transit.
• Review supplier’s pricing, delivery and pay term conditions to optimize cost and service levels.
• Responsible to coordinate with suppliers, scheduling, follow up shipment and collaborate closely with other internal and external stakeholders to meet customer satisfaction.
• Manage stock control including overseeing warehouse personnel and logistics partner(s) on importation, receiving and dispatching goods and reconciling records in ERP.
• Alert Sales Engineer and Customer Services on any supply changes like changes of product, pricing, packing, manufacturing plant, logistics flow etc… Provide purchase report(s) for related customers to the Sales Engineer and Customer Services to initiate their communication with customers or any necessary actions.
• Work closely with suppliers for updates of delivery time, delivery quantity, product quality or any aspects of the purchase then elevate the information in system and notify and proactively suggest alternatives to the customer services and sales engineer.
• Work with supplier(s) for claim about the purchase, if any includes but not limited to product quality issue, damage, incorrect shipping quantity, delay of shipment etc… Issue SCAR report to supplier(s) when it is necessary.
• Responsible for getting President - Asia’s approval of new vendor set up.
• Complete reports periodically for ISO procedures e.g. Supplier Scorecard.
• Evaluate and make reports periodically on supplier’s performance.
• Verify bills by vendor, warehouse or logistics service provider(s).
• Support customer registration with new vendor(s) and maintain updated supplier information on file.
• Physical stock count when it is required.
• Assist Supply Chain Manager studying on logistics and warehousing cost saving.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Customer Services Manager.
