Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Executing purchase order management strategies and action plans to focus on day-to-day execution of buying plans to achieve overall organization’s objectives
  • Implement the required action plan to ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase orders to support efforts to achieve to meet supply requirements, optimize supplier performance, and control costs.
  • Flag delivery risks and elevate to Procurement Manager or Supply Planner.
  • Coordinate with finance on unmatched POs or invoice issues
  • Validate pricing changes or part updates with suppliers.
  • Create and release purchase orders from MRP outputs or manual requisitions.
  • Update PO lines based on supplier confirmations (dates, pricing).
  • Track open orders, expedite or de‑expedite based on inventory levels or demand shifts.
  • Maintain purchase info records and vendor master data.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with SIOP, suppliers and D&L warehouse teams to ensure buying and planning alignment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing insights and proposing enhancements to buying processes or tools
  • Participate in S&OP supply review meetings to represent supply capabilities and constraints
