A prominent healthcare institution in Subang Jaya is seeking a Business Strategy Analyst. The role involves analyzing data related to hospital operations, monitoring key performance indicators, and providing strategic recommendations for management. Candidates should have a degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of experience in healthcare operations or management consulting. Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, and Excel is required.
Collect, analyze and interpret data related to hospital operations, COE performance, and patient census trends.
Design and develop dashboards for management and business user performance tracking and reporting.
Track and evaluate operational KPIs (e.g. length of stay, bed occupancy rate, turnaround time, throughput efficiency).
Identify performance gaps and recommend process improvements or strategic initiatives to enhance patient flow, utilization, and productivity.
Coordinate periodic performance review meetings and management reporting for the COO.
Conduct feasibility and profitability analysis for new or expanding Centre’s of Excellence, service lines, equipment investments, and partnership proposals.
Assess revenue forecasts, cost structures, manpower requirements, and potential return on investment (ROI).
Develop operational models to forecast demand, capacity, and financial performance.
Prepare evidence‑based reports and presentations for COO and/or hospital executive committee review.
Translate large data sets into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for COO/ Senior Management team.
Provide analytical insights to support strategic decisions in service expansion, workflow optimization, and productivity improvement.
Collaborate with Finance, Business Development (Local & International), and Clinical Services teams to ensure data consistency and actionable insights.
Monitor key market trends and competitor benchmarks relevant to clinical and operational performance.
Create dashboards and performance scorecards to monitor operational efficiency and service delivery outcomes.
Develop standardized reporting templates and performance scorecards for COE use.
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and data integrity in all reports submitted to COO/ Senior Management team.
Partners with Department Heads and COE leads to align operational objectives with hospital strategy.
Support cross‑functional improvement projects led by the COO Office.
Prepare executive summaries and management presentation materials.
Degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Economics or Data Analytics.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in healthcare operations, management consulting or hospital strategy will be an added advantage.
Must have experience with Power BI, Tableu, Advanced Microsoft Excel and related business intelligence tools.
