Job summary

A leading Malaysian Public Listed company is seeking an Executive Assistant cum Analyst to support senior leadership through data reporting and performance analysis. The role involves consolidating business data, preparing performance insights, and managing schedules for senior management. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree, with 2-3 years of experience in analytics and strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI. Excellent communication skills in English are required, knowledge of Chinese is an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in reporting, analytics, project coordination, or executive support.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Chinese is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

A leading Malaysian Public Listed company is seeking a highly organized and analytical professional to support senior leadership through data reporting, performance analysis, and executive-level coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consolidate and analyze business data from Finance, Operations, HR, and other departments for management reporting.
  • Prepare dashboards, KPI summaries, and performance insights using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Improve and maintain reporting templates to enhance accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
  • Identify trends, variances, and insights to support strategic and operational decision‑making.
  • Prepare board papers, business review materials, and briefing documents for senior management.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional inputs for monthly and quarterly performance reporting cycles.
  • Track progress of key initiatives and follow up with departments on action items and deliverables.
  • Manage schedules, meetings, travel arrangements, and confidential documentation for senior leadership.
  • Draft professional correspondence and support communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for events, visits, and senior‑level engagements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Economics, Office Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in reporting, analytics, project coordination, or executive support.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Chinese is an added advantage as need to deal with vendors from China.
  • Highly organized, analytical, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment, with occasional travel and extended hours when required.
