A logistics and supply chain company in Kulai, Malaysia, is looking for a Business Process Owner to oversee ERP processes. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, at least 3 years of experience in business process management, and strong skills in stakeholder coordination and change management. Proficiency in D365FO and relevant ERP certifications will be beneficial. The role involves mapping processes, ensuring strategic alignment, and providing support for post-implementation process management.
The ERP APAC Business Process Owner (BPO) is responsible for the overall success and performance of a specific end-to-end business process and ERP system, ensuring it aligns with company goals and is continuously optimized for efficiency and value. Key responsibilities include defining the process which drives the ERP system, implementing both Process and System improvements. This senior role acts as the ultimate accountable party for the Process and System outcomes, connecting strategic goals with daily operations.
Formally define the scope and objectives of a specific process, document its steps, and manage changes or improvements by anyone interacting with it.
Ensure the process is aligned with the organization's broader strategic goals and contributes to business value.
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and quality.
Work with other process owners, subject matter experts, Global Team, and internal teams to ensure smooth handoffs and continuity.
Own the effort to map out current (as-is) and future (to-be) business processes.
Assist and/or drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth transition to new processes.
Communicate changes effectively to all stakeholders and provide necessary training.
Act as the primary decision-maker for process-related changes within the ERP environment.
Collaborates with functional consultants to ensure business needs are met.
Oversee the testing and validation of new processes and system configurations.
Ensure that all changes are thoroughly tested before implementation
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for business processes post-implementation.
Monitor process performance and make adjustments as needed
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all business processes.
Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Utilize business intelligence tools to gather and analyze process performance data.
Possess Bachelor's Degree/Diploma and equivalent
3 or more years of experience in business process management, with at 2 years or more in a similar role within an ERP environment preferred
D365FO
Relevant Microsoft ERP certifications are a plus
Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate high self-motivation.
