A global business solutions provider in Penang is looking for a skilled Business Process Analyst. The role involves documenting, analyzing, and optimizing business processes while utilizing BPMN tools. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in operational roles, strong BPMN expertise, and familiarity with Agile methodologies. As a Business Process Analyst, you will play a key role in documenting, analyzing, and optimizing the organization’s end-to-end business processes. You will be responsible for developing clear and accurate process models, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting initiatives that enhance efficiency, visibility, and compliance across departments. Working closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and process owners, you will facilitate process mapping workshops, translate business needs into structured process documentation, and ensure all processes are properly maintained and represented in the BPMN tool.
To succeed in this role, you should bring relevant hands-on experience in either Order Management/Sales & Service, Supply & Demand Planning / Material Planning, or Product/NPI/Manufacturing processes.
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Bachelor’s degree; Masters degree is a plus.
Minimum 3 years of operational experience in Order Management, Sales & Service, or Supply/Demand/Material Planning, or prior experience in roles such as Product Manager, Process Analyst, NPI Engineer, Project Manager, or Manufacturing Engineer.
Proven experience in business process management, process documentation, or related roles.
Experience driving process improvements in the area of Product and NPI.
Working experience as a Product manager / Process Analyst / NPI Engineer / Project Manager.
Experience to operate or roll out Agile methodology, scrum methodology and Kanban board for the team.
Experience to use task management software such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft planner, Jira, Agile software
Experience with Design for manufacturing concept and process (DFM).
Strong proficiency in BPMN notation and experience using BPMN-tools for process modeling (e.g., Bizagi, Signavio, Camunda, etc.).
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify process improvement opportunities through data analysis.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and present complex concepts.
Project management skills to handle multiple process documentation projects simultaneously.
Understanding of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Business Process Reengineering (BPR).
Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements related to business processes.
