Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a seasoned Business Operations Analyst in Malaysia to lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to implementation. You will partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Finance, IT, and Manufacturing to drive strategic programs and analyze enterprise data for improvement opportunities.

The role requires strong analytical, communication, and project-management skills, with a track record of delivering data-driven insights and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects or programs from planning through execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously with changing priorities.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with executive engagement.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to operate independently.
• Preferred: experience in supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, operations, or business transformation.
• Knowledge of SAP and enterprise business systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional business initiatives from concept through implementation, partnering with Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Finance, IT, and Manufacturing teams.
• Manage project plans, milestones, risks, stakeholder alignment, and executive communications to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
• Analyze business processes, operational performance, and enterprise data to identify improvement opportunities and support data-driven decision making.
• Develop business cases, metrics, dashboards, and reporting solutions that track progress, measure results, and drive accountability.
• Translate ambiguous business challenges into structured projects, actionable recommendations, and sustainable operational improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on operational efficiency, cost reduction, inventory optimization, supplier performance, and business transformation.
