Job summary

DXC Technology Malaysia is offering an internship focused on data analytics and reporting. You will work on Power BI dashboards, data preparation with Excel, and light automation tasks in a hybrid office setting in Petaling Jaya. Intake begins November 2026 and durations range from 4 to 6 months.

This role is open to final-year Malaysian citizens. You will gain hands-on experience with data modelling, DAX basics, and Python scripting while collaborating with a team on real-world projects and

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Power BI (Desktop preferred).
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas; Power Query is a plus).
• Interest in data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
• Exposure to scripting or programming (e.g. Python) is an advantage.
• Willing to learn, detail-oriented, and able to work in a team.
• Basic knowledge of DAX or data modelling; exposure to automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Power BI Development - Assist in building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Data Preparation & Analysis - Help with data extraction, cleansing, and transformation using Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables).
• Automation Support - Support simple automation tasks using PowerShell or scripts to improve reporting and data processes.
• Programming & Integration - Use Python or other programming languages (where applicable) to support data analysis, basic automation, and API integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Preparation & Analysis - Help with data extraction, cleansing, and transformation using Excel (e.g. Power Query, Pivot Tables). Ensure data is accurate and ready for reporting.
• Automation Support - Support simple automation tasks using PowerShell or scripts to improve reporting and data processes.
• Programming & Integration - Use Python or other programming languages (where applicable) to support data analysis, basic automation, and API integrations.

Eligibility

Intake: November 2026 onwards

Internship Duration: Minimum 4 months to maximum 6 months

Eligibility: Malaysian citizens only, final‑year students

Work arrangement: Hybrid (1-2 days on site), 8.30 am to 5.30 pm
