Position Summary
- Analyze external and internal business environment along with current business status to strategically identify critical issues and develop responsive strategies to set the course of action.
- Develop action plans to strengthen competitiveness based on assessment of internal competencies and processes.

Role And Responsibilities
- Sales & Market Intelligence:
- Analyze channel performance (MM , retail, online, telco, dealer ) to identify growth opportunities and gaps.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking (price, promotion, market share, product positioning).
- Provide insights on consumer trends, market segmentation, and emerging demands in mobile device and consumer electronics categories.
- Business Strategy Support:
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams to identify strategic levers and measure performance KPIs.
- Prepare dashboards and intelligence reports to track promotions, sell-in/sell-out trends, ROI on channel investments, and campaign effectiveness.
- Forecasting & Modelling:
- Support monthly and quarterly forecast processes with data modelling, sell-in/sell-out projections, and scenario analysis.
- Create predictive models to identify high-value segments, churn risk, and cross-sell/up-sell opportunities.
- Reporting & Visualisation:
- Develop automated reports and real-time dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Present insights in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to senior stakeholders.
- Competitive Intelligence & Field Analysis:
- Monitor market activities and gather field intelligence through trade feedback, secondary data (e.g., GfK, Canalys), and digital trends.
- Generate monthly “Competitive Playbooks” to help the salesforce stay ahead.
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or related fields.
- 3–6 years in a Business Intelligence, Strategy, or Commercial Analytics role.
- Prior experience in mobile/consumer electronics, FMCG, telco, or ecommerce industries is highly preferred.
- Advanced Excel and SQL skills.
- Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Proficiency in statistical tools (Python, R) is a plus.
- Strategic thinking with high business acumen.
- Strong communication and storytelling with data.
- Self-driven with high attention to detail and accuracy and able to work in fast-paced, agile, and cross-functional environments.
