Overview

We are looking for a talented Business Development Manager SEA for a established MNC that specializes in RFID tag manufacturing services.

Reporting to: General Manager
Location: Nilai, Negeri Sembilan

Responsibilities
  • Develop Regional Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for Southeast Asia, based on in-depth market research and competitive analysis.
  • Drive the Full Sales Cycle: Proactively generate and qualify new leads, deliver compelling proposals, and close new business to meet sales targets.
  • Manage Partner Relationships: Serve as the primary contact and relationship manager for a network of local partners, including printing factories, material suppliers, and label manufacturers.
  • Lead Negotiations: Spearhead contract and pricing negotiations with both new clients and strategic partners to secure favourable terms.
  • Cultivate Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop Custom Solutions: Collaborate closely with internal technical and product teams to design and deliver tailored IoT solutions that meet specific client needs.
  • Drive Product Innovation: Act as the voice of the customer internally, providing crucial market feedback to influence future product development.
  • Manage Sales Pipeline: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline and client database using CRM software.
  • Report on Performance: Prepare and present detailed reports on sales activities, market insights, and revenue forecasts to the management team.
  • Represent the Company: Act as a key brand ambassador at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions across the region.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree/ diploma or equivalent sales training or experience.
  • Availability for regular business travel.
  • Extensive business-to-business sales experience, preferably in similar industries (label, Iot, RFID).
  • Excellent planning & organizational skills.
