Job summary

A leading insurance provider in Kuching is looking for an experienced Sales Executive to achieve production targets and manage agent relationships effectively. Job Summary

This role is part of AGIC – Kuching Branch Marketing team. The candidate is responsible for achieving individual production targets set by the company and ensuring the achievement of the branch’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve GWP plan and targets as set by the branch.
  • Solicit, procure, and maintain business from agents to achieve sales targets, profitability, and sustainability.
  • Ensure Motor and Non-Motor outstanding amounts are collected and keep bad debts at minimal and acceptable levels with valid reasons.
  • Recruit new agents according to individual targets.
  • Provide quotations to agents for non-motor cases within mandate and obtain approval for risks exceeding the mandate.
Key Requirements
  • Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in any field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Sales/Business Development.
  • Experience in the General Insurance domain is an advantage.
  • Experience in servicing and maintaining good relationships with agents, including technical support, motivation, and training.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Good team player with interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools like ChatGPT to analyze sales data and identify growth opportunities.
