BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER / EXECUTIVE (AGRICULTURE)

Responsibilities:
  • Liaise between customers and SGS technical teams to provide follow-up and feedback on technical questions and specifications.
  • Visit existing customers periodically for contract reviews.
  • Ensure customer inquiries are adequately addressed by the customer care group.
  • Prepare customer quotations as required.
  • Provide training to staff under your supervision.
  • Adhere to SGS Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies by maintaining good safety practices and exercising necessary standards and processes to ensure compliance at all times.
  • Perform any other responsibilities assigned by your reporting manager and/or senior management.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development within a technical services or industrial capacity, especially in the Agricultural Inspections industry.
  • A degree in Business, Chemical Sciences, or an equivalent field is an asset.
  • Proven success in customer relationship and key account management.
  • Experience dealing with mineral industries is an advantage.
  • Comfortable engaging with various levels of senior executives.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM software is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide occasionally.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in agricultural inspections and a strong professional network in the industry.
  • Candidates from operational backgrounds without prior sales experience are encouraged to apply if they demonstrate enthusiasm and interest in transitioning into sales roles.
