Digital Way Group, in partnership with CLW China (the largest special vehicle manufacturer in China), is building a strong regional team in Malaysia to expand across the Southeast Asia special vehicle market.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead market development for emergency services vehicles, public cleansing vehicles, and related equipment, working closely with government bodies, municipalities, and key industry stakeholders.

This is a rare opportunity to be part of a ground-up regional expansion with strong manufacturing backing and long-term growth potential.

Market Development & Sales
  • Emergency services vehicles (firefighting & rescue trucks)
  • Public cleansing & waste management vehicles (garbage compactor trucks, sweeper trucks, washer trucks)
  • Related products and equipment (firefighting suits and accessories)
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
Target Sectors
  • Airports and aviation-related operators
  • Other relevant public and private sector organisations
Stakeholder & Partner Engagement
  • Regularly engage with stakeholders to promote products and ensure long-term client satisfaction
  • Identify, connect with, and nurture relationships with clients, distributors, agents, and strategic partners
  • Support tender participation, proposal preparation, and commercial negotiations
  • Conduct market research on industry trends, regulatory requirements, competitor activities, customer needs
  • Work closely with technical and product teams to align offerings with market demand
  • Provide management with regular updates, sales forecasts, and market insights
Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.

Experience in automotive, special vehicles, industrial vehicles, heavy machinery, or government-related projects is highly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields.

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-growing environment.
