Dexcom’s New Business Development team is at the forefront of expanding access to our life‑changing technology across the Asia‑Pacific (APAC) region. We are a strategic, cross‑functional group that thrives on launching innovative programmes, building strong partnerships, and operationalising new business models.

Role Overview

This Business Development Manager will lead Dexcom’s commercial growth in Malaysia and Singapore by driving CGM adoption in T1 & T2 diabetes, executing market development initiatives, and managing channel partners. The role accelerates Dexcom’s go‑to‑market strategy, spearheads business expansion, and ensures sustained, substantial growth of Dexcom CGM across both markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute Dexcom’s go‑to‑market strategy for Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Identify market opportunities, unmet needs, and barriers to CGM adoption.
  • Develop and implement strategic growth plans to expand Dexcom’s footprint in private and public healthcare sectors.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing teams to localise campaigns and awareness programmes.
  • Drive substantial year‑on‑year growth in Dexcom CGM users through targeted initiatives.
  • Lead initiatives to increase HCP awareness, confidence and prescription of Dexcom CGM.
  • Support clinical and commercial programmes to enhance patient access and adherence.
  • Manage and develop strong relationships with distribution partners in Malaysia and Singapore, monitor partner performance, set targets and ensure execution of sales strategy.
  • Provide partners with product training, marketing materials and sales tools.
  • Identify, evaluate and onboard new channel partners when needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and diabetes centres.
  • Engage key opinion leaders (KOLs), diabetes educators, and clinical stakeholders to support broader CGM adoption.
  • Support participation in conferences, workshops and patient education events.
  • Develop annual business plans including forecasting, budgeting and market development activities.
  • Provide timely reporting on market trends, competitor activity, performance metrics and risks.
  • Work cross‑functionally with marketing, medical affairs, market access and supply chain.
  • Ensure compliance with Dexcom’s commercial policies, ethics and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate product registrations, pricing submissions and reimbursement‑related activities where relevant.
  • Support operational processes ensuring product availability and seamless customer experience.
  • Report to the South East Asia Commercial Leader.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Deep knowledge of medical device and/or pharmaceutical distribution models in Malaysia and Singapore, including reimbursement systems and clinical workflows.
  • Experience in diabetes care, endocrinology or chronic disease management (preferred).
  • Experience leading complex, cross‑functional projects or programmes across multiple countries.
  • Ability to articulate product value and communicate how Dexcom’s solutions meet diverse customer needs.
  • Comfortable engaging with clinicians and patients to define commercial requirements (VOC and VOB).
  • Proven track record in launching or scaling healthcare products in Malaysia and/or Singapore.
  • Experience managing distributors and channel partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8+ years of related experience.
