Job summary

Verdant Solar is inviting August intake interns to join a dynamic team. You will engage leads by phone and text, optimize the lead funnel, and analyze market trends to inform business strategies.

Qualifications

• Open for August Intake interns with a minimum commitment of 3 months or longer.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications or related studies.
• Multilingual, fluent Mandarin (spoken and written).
• Comfortable with structured work, digital tools and basic tracking systems (Excel, Respond.io, Monday.com).
• Willingness to work on weekends to ensure timely lead distribution and operational support.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset and collaborative team attitude.

We are currently looking for go-getters to join our team to help us with:

Handling Lead Responses

Effectively engage with leads and prospects through phone calls & text messages.

Lead Funnel Optimization

Proactively identify and address gaps throughout the lead journey to maximize conversion opportunities. This includes following up on unresponsive leads, resolving system or process-related issues, ensuring timely lead assignment, maintaining accurate CRM records, and taking corrective actions to prevent qualified prospects from being lost. Work closely with relevant teams to ensure every lead is properly assessed and progressed until it is qualified, disqualified, or converted.

Conversion Behavior Insight via Calls

Leverage outbound calls to understand differences in customer conversion behavior across human vs AI-driven engagement, identifying key factors influencing response, trust, and purchase decisions. Feed insights back into the sales and marketing process to improve lead conversion efficiency and reduce drop-off rates.

Conducting Analysis on Market Trends

Research and analyze current market trends, competition, and customer demand for solar energy solutions.

Assisting in the Development of Business Strategies

Collaborate with the team to formulate business strategies that pinpoint and target potential customer segments. Assist in creating marketing and outreach plans to reach and engage with these potential customers effectively.
