Job summary

A technology solutions provider in Malaysia is seeking a Technical Consultant to engage in technical and business consultations, solution design, and customer support. The ideal candidate will have at least a Diploma in Computer Science and 2 years of relevant experience. Strong presentation and communication skills in Malay and English are necessary.   • Technical Consultation:
    ✓ Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and objectives.
    ✓ Provide expert advice on technical solutions that align with customer needs.
    ✓ Identify and communicate the technical features and benefits of the product or solution to customers
  • Business Consultation
    ✓ To explore new business areas.
    ✓ To be involved in business planning & reporting to achieve group performance and target.
    ✓ To work together with our Solution team to formulate winning strategies.
    ✓ To assist in pre-sales activities, solution presentation, proposals, quotations etc.
    ✓ To possess prospecting and networking skills.
    ✓ Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by Management.
    ✓ To follow up on sales & business development activities (quotation, invoice, purchase order).
    ✓ To gather initial requirements from prospect for solution presentation and demo.
    ✓ To prepare the presentation slides on InfoConnect product and solution offering based on customer requirements
    ✓ To prepare proposal in writing that address the challenges and values that InfoConnect solutions offer to the prospect
    ✓ To respond to Request For Information/Proposal (RFI/P), Request For Quotation (RFQ) and tender.
  • Solution Design:
    ✓ Develop and propose tailored solutions based on customer requirements.
    ✓ Ensure that proposed solutions are technically viable and align with the company’s product offerings.
    ✓ Assist in the design and architecture of complex solutions, including hardware, software, and network components.
  • Product Demonstrations:
    ✓ Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the solution’s capabilities.
    ✓ Prepare and deliver technical presentations to potential customers.
  • Proposal Development:
    ✓ Assist in creating detailed technical proposals and documentation to support the sales process.
    ✓ Work with internal teams to ensure that all customer requirements are addressed in the proposals.
  • Customer Support:
    ✓ Provide pre-sales technical support and guidance to customers.
    ✓ Address technical queries from customers and offer solutions to overcome challenges.
  • Market and Product Knowledge:
    ✓ Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and product offerings.
    ✓ Continuously learn about new products and services offered by the company to effectively communicate their value to customers.
  • Collaboration:
    ✓ Work closely with product management, engineering, and sales teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and the company’s product roadmap
Qualification / Experience / Skill Requirements:
  • Must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Records Management/Information System.
  • Required presentation skill (Ms Power Point and additional graphic tools) and professional writing skills (MS Word and Ms Excel).
  • Fluent in communication, presentation and writing in Malay and English Language.
  • Good self-discipline, independent, pleasant appearance and communication skill.
  • Require travelling around Klang Valley with own transport.
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Experience in managing partner/reseller/principal.
  • Experience in managing corporate and government clients.
  • Additional Technical skill(s): Windows Servers, SQL Servers, Enterprise Content Management, Document Management System, Record Management System, Portal Solution, Design simple mockup UI.
